Take an eco-adventure Kayak/Hike to Secret Falls or enjoy a leisure Stand Up Paddle adventure to see the most scenic views on Kauai. The Wailua River is an easy going Class Zero river.

Combine your paddling adventures with a moderate hike through a rainforest, wading through streams, traversing muddy trails and walking over a tree root system the size of a large SUV; a definite rock solid adventure.

  • Excellent team! Very knowledgeable of all the local wildlife and plant life. Had even trained some wild birds to respond to their calls. They were very helpful on the trip, helping with each portion of kayak, hike and waterfall. Extremely impressed, all ages. They also had wonderful photography skills!!
  • I was looking at google maps trying to determine fun places to stop and clicked on Ali'i Kayaks. The reviews were great and I really wanted to do a kayak trip so I went for it. So glad I did and the reviews weren't wrong! It's a nice kayak trip, not too long though it would be rough if it was a hot day. Thankfully it was a little overcast with a slight breeze so it was perfect. I really admire our guide, Dustin. There was a man and his little nephew that did not know how to kayak, he ended up towing them the entire way there. And then on the way back he ended up towing two kayaks! (Please only go on this trip if you know how to kayak, don't do this to your guide!). Dustin was great though, the hike was nice, it had been recently upgraded with a boardwalk on parts to make it less dangerous. Dustin gave us so much information, he was funny, charming, and just an overall great attitude. The waterfall was a little crowded, but still really nice. I do suggest you bring yourself snacks. We brought water but didn't even think about snacks. Wouldn't have been a big deal but seeing everyone else eat snacks made me hungry!
