  • Spent a morning here and it was blissful. Got there a bit late but still lots of parking spots. Fun spot to body surf and play in the water.

  • Now you don’t! Huge surf and storm system pushed the waves all the way up to the foliage line, temporarily closing the beach. Huge December storm was like a hurricane with torrential rains, but...

  • Beautiful beach. Nice public park with parking, restrooms and showers. The surf here was *very* intense. 6 ft waves in 2 feet of water. The water is best for strong swimmers in good physical shape. Also has hiking trails. Don't turn your back on the ocean !
  • Good waves. I hear it can be tricky with a north wind but if you want a great beach with a place to have in the shade, it’s a great location. It’s nice to have the option of a tree’d area when they call you lobster man after too much time in the sun. Not really a place for snorkelling.
