  • It's worth a stop on the North Shore to hike the trails at turtle bay and visit this site and the pill box (bunker) . Plus the Banyan tree is cool too.  more »
  • This is actually not the radar site but the site of the memorial and a great view of the radar site that used to be on a hilltop. There is however detailed info of the importance of the site and timeline on events unfolding the morning of 12/7/1941.
  • Check out the placards for some interesting history. But good luck finding them. The resort has done a great job of building up the hotel grounds and making everything nice, except for this historic site... You have to hike down towards a service entrance for the hotel, find the hidden direction signs, walk past the smoking area (which looks like homeless people live there), and find the last part of the trail to get there.
