  • What an amazing experience! Not only did we see about 8 different Manta Rays but they came within inches of us!! Highly recommend! The event is efficiently run… check is a may seem a little sketch as you are checking in at POV but the staff are great! Kind, knowledgeable, motivated. Equipment is good quality. We went out at 7:30pm… it was dark…perfect experience!
  • 8:30PM launch on our first night in HI 4-05-2022: Parking was a bit of an issue so keep that in mind as it could take a little longer if there is limited parking near the water. I am borrowing from another reviewer as I couldn't say it better: "The Captain was personable and fun while always focused on safety. Chase kept us informed and safe while in the water and called out the names of each manta as it approached. You can't get any closer to these beautiful and graceful animals as you do simply floating at the surface. Wow!" I don't know how many total we saw but we were visited by each several times. My niece and I were on the side of the board that got the most action as we were both touched by the Mantas numerous times (I can still imagine their touch against me). I had more than a few eye to eye moments with the Mantas as they neared me. It was quite something. Keeping your arms straight as they instruct is important for your comfort. It did take me a few tries to get used to my mask and breathing but once that was accomplished, I was able to enjoy the rest of my time. The last ten minutes or so it did get a little chilly, even with our wetsuits; but then again, we are from Phoenix. My cousin and I both got a little seasick IN the water so the boat ride out and waiting for docking was a bit tense. I think that's probably not the norm but you may want to get some Dramamine or the bracelet they speak of to help with possible sea sickness. And the ultimate question, yes, I would definitely use this company again.
