  • We enjoyed a cannon firing exhibition. They do this every Memorial Day, 4th of July and Veteran's Day weekends at 2 pm.
  • Interesting part of US history and the Oregon Trail. This is a State Park but really should be a National Park or US site. Museum was small but had many artifacts to view. The upkeep seems a little lacking and my understanding from other posts is possible budget cuts within the state of Nebraska May be the cause. Great afternoon for a walk around the grounds. Be sure to watch the movie inside the welcome center as it provides Perry information before walking the grounds. I would pay extra for a guided tour to understand what we were viewing. Not much information available as you walk, no map with information either.
