  • Highly recommend Anelakai adventure for Manta Ray swimming. Rowing out while the sun is setting was much more of an experience than some of the larger boat options. The small group feel was also...  more »
  • This was my second time with Anelakai, and it is such a fun “old Hawaii” type experience. No throngs of tourists on this adventure, you get to paddle out with a few other people (including the local....  more »

  • Pushing off from the local boat ramp, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Certainly not an overcrowded boat where you are bumping into strangers, just 6 tourists per double hulled canoe. How much more authentic of an experience can you get? The ankle floats made it a breeze to float in pure enjoyment. Right off the bat we were able to witness a 10 foot manta do barrel rolls so close to us, I was convinced she was going to touch one of us! An absolute delight! And when the mantas were out of view, there were plenty of other small fish to keep you entertained. A perfectly lovely evening at sunset on the water with no smelly diesel. The most environmentally friendly approach to capturing a glance into the underwater world. Mahalo for helping create a lifetime memory! Highly recommended.
  • This was the highlight of our vacation, and the perfect way to spend our last night on the island. The guys were awesome! They really knew what they were talking about, and weren't afraid to have fun either. We even stayed an extra hour or so after our trip just talking with them. I have always loved the ocean and rays, so having the chance to get super up close and personal with some beautiful manta rays was spectacular. they really put on a show, getting right up to the surface of the water and doing their flips to get food. it was absolutely incredible.
