Singletary Lake State Park is a North Carolina state park in Bladen County, North Carolina in the United States. Located near Elizabethtown, it covers 1,221-acre (4.94 km2), including Singletary Lake, one of the largest Carolina bays. Singletary Lake State Park is southeast of Elizabethtown on North Carolina Highway 53 in North Carolina's Coastal Plain region. It serves primarily as a group camp but is open on a limited basis for year-round recreation, including hiking, fishing and observing nature.

  • We visited Singletary Lake for a hike with our dog for the state parks passport. Unlike most parks, this one is primarily for organized groups with two group camps. Until recently, it was only open....  more »
  • We made a reservation and pulled right in to a pretty spot. Lovely state park. Great walking trails!  more »
  • If you’re looking for a place you can be off the grid but not be in a totally primitive experience, this is the place. You still have some amenities, but are in a more private and secluded setting. We love swimming in the lake, fishing, and using the canoes. The temperature at the lake and the breeze make it so much more comfortable. And you’ll catch one of the best sunsets around.
  • Great family park. It is a great get away from city life. The park is very clean
