Farm · Hidden Gem · Landmark
The T. A. Moulton Barn is all that remains of the homestead built by Thomas Alma Moulton and his sons between about 1912 and 1945. It sits west of the road known as Mormon Row, in an area called Antelope Flats, between the towns of Kelly and Moose. Now lying within Grand Teton National Park, it is near the homestead of Andy Chambers. The property with the barn was one of the last parcels sold to the National Park Service by the Moulton family. Often photographed (according to Flickr it is the most photographed barn in America), the barn with the Teton Range in the background has become a symbol of Jackson Hole.

  • Iconic, photogenic Mormon Barn. Just 5 minutes off Highway 191 on a gravel road. Free. Beautiful. You'll only be there about 15 minutes, but you'll be glad you went.  more »
  • Located in the Mormon Row historic district. Easy to get to from 191 to Antelope Flats Road. A must see in this area and most likely the most photographed barn in the country. Limited parking...  more »

  • The renowned Moulton Barn! This barn is obviously a very cool place to visit for anyone. But my brother jut had his wedding here this past weekend and I cant wait for the pictures because the weather was perfect. With the tetons in the background you cant get much of a better place for an amazing event.
  • This barn has been the subject of many Americana western photos. I had always want to take my own picture of the barn. On a recent road trip through the area, we stopped in for a quick picture. It was late afternoon so the sun was behind the barn and mountains. Not the best light for taking pictures. The barn is close to highway 89, so not a big detour. There were lots of people out in front of the barn, so it was hard to get a picture without people. The barn was not listed on Google maps when we tried to find it, which is ironic because I'm writing the review on Google maps. In the end, I ended up just making a random turn and it happened to be right there.
