Stroll down the shores of Galveston Bay and Clear Lake, stop for a bite to eat at one of the area's ten restaurants, or step into some of the stores lining the way. You'll find plenty of rides and games with prizes for children or the whole family, including the wooden Boardwalk Bullet roller coaster. Extremely fun, sadly, the beach has no sandy areas to enjoy. The board walk doesn't allow pets, just an FYI! The parking is 9 dollars for anything near the boardwalk so get there early!

We have been before but for some reason this time was especially fun. It was a picture perfect boardwalk setting with all the rides, games , shopping and dining you can imagine. I recommend staying at The boardwalk inn at least overnight or 2 nights is better. The time will allow you to savor being there and take advantage of all there Is to offer. Overall fun place for a. Weekend trip. Check-out the aquarium and the if you have kids who are still doing the playground thing there is a really cool playground over by the back ship. Channel side where you can enjoy a beverage while they play
atmosphere! Very fun.! Got a little crowded around 1500pm, so we ended up leaving. The wooden roller coaster was very nostalgic and awesome to see and ride on. Very pretty place to spend the day. Watched the boats for a little while, played some carnival games, road some of the attractions, went to the aquarium and fed the sting Ray's. Was a great experience for the entire family. The staff was so nice to everyone. Parking was easy in the morning (parking lot is small for a large truck), but filled up after lunch VERY FAST!. We had a blast and look forward to returning soon..
