  • The museum contains a lot of interesting history explaining why and how the windmills evolved in the Midwest. Enjoyed the hands-on exhibits showing how the various designs work. The introductory film....  more »
  • All sorts of windmills. Can walk through the outdoor area. The indoor museum has a charge. There is a film and a lot of history. It could be skipped - but the entrance fee helps keep the place...  more »

  • We enjoyed our visit so very much!! We traveled from New Hampshire to visit after seeing it in a magazine. We had our own personal tour and learned a whole lot of history. WELL WORTH THE TRIP!!!
