    I am a civil war buff. This museum has many, many actual relics. For $9/adult/Free for kids, it's an absolute steal! An hour is nowhere close to enough time if you wanted to read and see everything...

    History helps you to understand present & future better.! Instant thought to get into the museum turned out to be a best decision of the day.! 360° theatre was nice experience in Lower level 1. There is lot to read great stuffs. You will enjoy if you’re interested in history + current affairs.! Entry Ticket price is $9/adult. Kids free. My 3 yo lil one enjoyed kids history room on upper level 1. Lot fun stuffs to see & feel mid 19th century life. Miniature home of Abe Lincoln was catchy to us. Got some good stuffs in gift shop. Spent around 1 hour in Civil War Museum first floor & 30 minutes at kids history room second floor. Perks: nice overview of calm Lake Michigan 😍

    One of the best museums We've ever visited! The format is really well thought out and the exhibits are beautifully curated. I love the mix of historic artifacts and storytelling from strategically placed mannequins.
