    The beach is really nice. The kids had a good time playing in the sand and in the water. The water is still pretty cold in August, but you can still enjoy your time in the water. The bathhouses were.....  more

    Enjoyed a nice walk on the beach in the evening. It was so refreshing to put the feet in the cool water after a long walk on a hot Summer day. Nice beach area

    Not as clean as it used to be few years ago, but it's still a pretty nice beach. We visit this beach at-least a couple of times every summer. The parking is very hard to find on busy days when the weather is nice and warm. The only criticism would be the restrooms are not well maintained, so they definitely need some attention. There is a playground for the kids, but our kids never used this playground so far, since they just have so much fun on the beach.

    I recently moved here and googled fun things to do in Kenosha. Google said Simmons Island Beach is one of the best places to find beach glass. It's True! I went on a windy day, and I found a few pieces after walking along the shore for 15 minutes.
