Very pleasant hike in early fall, quiet, colorful We hiked on the trails on the east side of the road, which they say is not as steep, but still has elevation changes. You are never too far away..... more

Butterfly state park, good for walking ,hiking or running. Some trails have nice view. I will be there again exploring.

Great hikes. The blue trail was hard and needed scrambling on all fours!! We visited the park a week after peak fall colors. Still it was fantastic. Worth a visit with nice brook and several picnic spots.
