  • The beach is located in Key Biscayne, you have to go there specifically but for this reason it is a hidden gem outside the usual tourist routes. The beach is huge, white, surrounded by palm trees. Every now and then there are very clean toilets with showers. It is possible to have picnics because there are beautiful tables and equipped pergoles. In short, a real paradise... especially if you want to take beautiful photos without the typical high-rise background you find instead in South Beach. Key Biscayne is easily reached from South Beach in about 20 minutes, but it's really worth it because it feels like you're on a Caribbean beach.

  • It's a beach with free access - which doesn't always happen in the United States, let alone in Florida. It is about 20 minutes from downtown Miami by car or bus. There is always a line that leads directly there, for $ 2.25, is only search by Google Maps (the line number currently is 119). Going down by bus, walk a few minutes to the park access - carefully, because there is no sidewalk, it is next to the road itself. The beach is worth for those who want to enjoy to sunbathe peacefully. There's no parasol for rent, no chair, so you have to take it from home. Don't count on the diners either, because the day I was there nothing opened. But it was worth the tranquility and shade of the coqueiros. It's pretty quiet. The sea has no waves, but it's different from Miami Beach. It's a shallow beach.
