  • We have been passing the Discovery Center for years waiting to find it open. It is now open Fridays and Saturdays. I'm sure they would open more if more people would visit. You can't beat the free....  more

  • We were one of 6 people in the whole place. Great exhibits include a model of NOAA underwater submarine research station. Very interactive with a movie theater too.

  • Hidden gem. Found the center to be full of great info about the ocean and surrounding waters of Key West. There is no cost to admit. But do leave a donation. Loved the aquariums and watch the movie they show every 30 minutes.
  • Stopped by here on the way out of Fort Zackary and I'm glad I did. The museum had very interesting exhibits about the marine life on the Keys. All the displays were well kept, and some were even intractable. If looking for time to kill or just want to learn something new. This is a good place to stop!
