All about the history of submarines and submarine warfare. Great displays, lots of technical information as well as 2 deep submersibles on display. If you like subs, this is the place to go. more »
This is a fantastic place to stop.I highly recommend it! The Navy has done a fabulous job of letting you experience the undersea world. I highly recommend it for everyone and particularly for anybody who have family that served in the Navy and especially who have served aboard submarines. Submarine exhibit are very informative and very well done. While we were there they had an exhibit for the Thresher disaster. What a moving tribute to those brothers that paid the ultimate price in service protecting our freedom in tbe Untied States.
An accredited naval museum ideal for youth. Exhibits primarily focused on underwater work and history not just warfare. Very educational and free.
