Create an itinerary including Kamaole Beach Park II
A wide, quiet beach, Kamaole Beach Park II is only one of a series of beaches in the area. Although storms can sweep the beach down to volcanic rock pebbles, most of the year it is covered in golden sand. The beach is flanked by the luxurious Maui Banyan condos and a spot of dense, green growth. The greenery continues around the beach, creating a barrier between the relaxing oceanside and the civilization beyond the trees. With our international travel planner, Kihei attractions like Kamaole Beach Park II can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • My favorite beach in Maui. Saw the most incredible sunset of my life here, and I saw sea turtles (that were quite friendly) about every time I swam at this beach and this beach only. I couldn’t even see them in Turtle Town when I went on a guided tour! It’s just the best, a perfect mix of sea grass and soft sand with a delicate mix of calm and exciting surf. Can’t wait to be back one day, it is a special beach.
  • The beach is beautiful. The waves were rough for children, especially for my youngest (age 11), compared to other beaches in Hawaii. The parking was very easy to find and and the entrance fee was free, which was super nice. The area was clean, it was bit crowded.
