Black Pond Brews, Killingly

Not very roomy and not the tastiest selection but you’re going to find some beer being brewed you didn’t even know existed. Nice guys running the place, I’d probably give them a stick of gum if I ever carried any on me. I don’t carry gum on me though. Nice outdoor area 🌞 Every time I go in here I see the same people so you know the place is pretty good. Mr. Kitty may or may not be involved in the brewing process, three stars

First time, unpleasant experience. Walked into an old but attractive building and was greeted by the kitty (and only the kitty). Went to the fridge to get some cans and a special bottle. Walked up to the bar and the cicerone was talking with one of 3 other customers and started to ring me up. He confirmed my order in a few words and processed my card. I paid and tipped him to support a local business employee while he went back to conversing with another customer. Here's the problem...no thank you, no have a nice night, or no enjoy your beer. I paused to give him some time but I was ignored, plain and simple. Saving grace - the jalapeno saison was very good and the sour brown was light but tasty. Will try to visit again but won't go out of my way to do so (and I now live in a few towns away). Not a very good PR opportunity as I'm an active craft brew consumer.
