  • The fairy garden is beautiful. I walked the area while the train wasn't running. The walk is very short and everything is better seen on foot. They have quite a variety of items to choose from but...

  • Was a very lovely afternoon spent here. Took the little train ride around the grounds and the young man who drove and narrated simply couldn't have been any nicer! He had a great disposition as did all of the staff we encountered around the grounds and in the shop. Very peaceful surroundings and well worth the trip.
  • Yoga in the lavender fields was SO perfect on a gorgeous July day with a light breeze! I honestly wondered if it was more of a catchy name to draw you in (a pretty location to do yoga but nothing more), but I'm glad I was wrong. You could absolutely smell the lavender throughout the class, and it was SO lovely. We had a light breeze but I think (especially if you get a spot close to the lavender) you'd be able to smell it even without a breeze. Just remember that bees ADORE lavender, so if that freaks you out, you'll probably want a spot away from the plants. There is plenty of open space. It's a bit of a drive from where I live and for the price of the class, it's not something I'd do weekly, but I would definitely go again. Take time to walk around and check out the grounds and store afterwards!
