    An extremely generous space for contemporary art commited to presenting art of the last seventy or so years in the best possible light. Rethinking and opening up what must have been a somewhat dour space provides new possibilities for large pieces of art to feel supported rather than suffocated, and the remodeling left plenty of smaller spaces fro a more intimate experience. The generously maintained outside space receives sculpture, both classic and contemporary, with grace and elegance.

    Saw the impressive Warhol/Basquiat exhibit here. Besides the artwork the documentary shown downstairs was very informative about artists in NYC in the 80's and the challenges Basquiat faced.
