Founded in 1987, the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the preservation, protection, and promotion of both the surface, and the memories along Arizona’s portion of Route 66. The Association, which was the first Route 66 Association, led the rebirth of Route 66 and has been championing this American treasure ever since.

  • Very well put together! Lots of displays with great historical description. Spent much more time here than I thought I would! Well worth the stop if you want to learn more than just kicks and Corvettes.
  • Very cool museum, even if you can stop for 10 minutes on a road trip. I would say stop, cool displays and clean bathrooms
