  • Love it! Enjoy walking and running past people enjoying the outdoors. They have several paths to take. I prefer the side with the steps as the final hurdle to the top. I feel like it's about 300+ steps to the top and you have to earn every single step. Once you get to the top, you immediately forget about the journey because the destination has views that erase time. Clean views!
  • Nice state park to come to for awesome views! The hike to the top of Crowders Mountain is well worth it for the views of the surrounding area, can even see the Charlotte skyline on a clear day. Took the 0.7 mile long Backside Trail to reach the summit. Be warned the hike to the summit is very strenuous, very steep grade and have to climb 300 stairs right before reaching the summit. Also be warned there are steep cliffs at the summit so use caution.
