Island H2O Live!, Kissimmee

We bought passes beginning of April and just now got here. Life is so busy. This place did not disappoint! With 3 teens in tow, they kept so busy and had a blast! The wave pool was good but we all decided Typhoon Lagoon in Disney was much better. We tried the Nacho Supreme and the Giant Pretzel. Both, were a hit! It was fairly busy, as there were very few lounge chairs available. There are many cabanas and I think it's wise to get one, if you can. The 2 family water rides had to shut down. The machine to bring the rafts to the top broke half way through the day. It made the other lines a bit longer, but we all still enjoyed our time. We are already planning when to go back! Upon looking at other reviews, it seems the motor broke a month ago for the 2 family rides. This looks like it's a reoccurring problem. Hopefully, they can get that fixed correctly and soon.

This place is a hidden gem among the larger, more popular and more expensive water parks. Our visit was on a Wednesday and it was not crowded at all. Wait times on all water slides were around 10 min. We were told Thursday-Sunday is a lot more crowded. It is cheaper to buy tickets online vs at the gate. They also do have promotions online. Wristbands give at the gate (with QR codes) need to be registered on the app as soon as entering the park to earn points. They can be scanned at all rides and photo booths throughout the park. The photos will be uploaded to your account which is fun. They do have more similar activities coming soon. If only coming for a day, it’s highly unlikely to earn enough point to get anything, but if you have season passes, it’s a great perk. There are a variety of rides to choose from. The there is also different areas for kids under 8. This place has activities for everyone from the grandparents to babies. The bathrooms are clean and there many available. There are two places serving food, both with prices to be expected. I will say I wish there was more kid friendly options. And they don’t sell bags of chips individually which was disappointing. The chips with the nachos were stale and the chicken tenders were really cheap. The pretzel however was good and I would order again. As for drinks you are allowed to bring in one water bottle per person under 20oz. and you can refill. Alcohol is served here and it’s close to but not inside the adult pool. It’s nice to be able to get drinks and walk around. The staff are nice and chill. Would definitely visit again and refer to others.
