SLINGSHOTTo plan Kissimmee vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.
This innovative Slingshot amusement device is by far one the most exciting vertical amusement rides available today. Slingshot passengers are propelled over 360 feet at speeds in the region of 100 miles per hour.
The slingshot machine does not utilize rubber ropes or bungee cords but is powered by a patented spring propulsion device incorporating up to 720 specially designed springs.
The Slingshot can be custom designed to cause minimal disruption to existing venues. This includes tower designs that consume a few square yards of land and use elevated gondola loading platforms where space is at a premium.
The Vomatron can best be described as a giant propeller with seats on each end! Similar to the centrifuge used by astronauts to simulate rocket acceleration except it is mounted vertically. It is powered by 6 huge electric motors that rotate the giant 200 foot arm at speeds of more than 70 miles per hour, throwing the capsules into extreme spins putting 4gs of force upon its unwary passages. Then just as they think it is all over... We spin it in reverse with the same degree of pure torture as before.
The passengers are restrained by an overhead lap bar which can be fixed in different positions to match various body sizes, the seats and the overhead lap bar are covered in a layer of soft foamed polyurethane which ensures maximum passenger comfort while they undergo the stresses of this ride. The overhead lap bar is restrained with a double locking rack mechanism which is hydraulically actuated. This locking mechanism can only be opened with an operator activated release key, therefore guaranteeing maximum rider safety.
Old Town Sling Shot & Vomatron reviews
They wiped down every seat after each use. They had you ride in every other seat. The favorite rides were the Go Karts, & the pendulum one (can't remember the name). more »
My son went on the ride alone, he couldn't say enough about it - loved it! IF you have an extra $20 to spend on one ride.. a little steep in price. more »
Totally worth the $25!! We went twice (because it’s only $10 to go the second time! We also went on the ride right next to it, which was a super like a super tall spinning needle, with swings at each end, and it spins around super fast. We went on that twice too! Worth it if you’re in the area!
This is one of the best experiences you can have while traveling near the orlando without going to the big named parks. Get out of your head and get on the sling shot!! Such a sweet, small attraction to gather that supports small business. There tends to be some construction at the attraction park, because they are keeping up with trend and always want to offer visitors the best experience. Affordable fun for everyone.
