  • had heard/seen many stories about the area, so got a few friends to take a drive and check it out. Amazing sight to see and so close to home. Lot of walking if you want to get closer to birds...

  • The place was amazing! I got there early which was nice. But, even when I left several hours later, the place had many vehicles but it didn't seem crowded. I will return many times! The Center was great to visit, very informative. Staff was friendly and helpful.
  • Snow geese always arrive in February and March. They average about 100,00 till they leave. You can also see Tundra swans. Make sure you dress warm! Bring food & water if you plan to Stay for awhile. There is a parking area. You have to walk a distance to get your pictures. There are restrooms at visitor center close by. There is a pavilion at the viewing Area. Cameras are a must! Professionals come as well. People come from all over the world to see the snow geese! The auto tour will open up March 1st.
