Docent Penny Wallace is the best! So informative and engaging. Accommodating. She allowed me to join a special tour as a "walk in." The history of the building and the Blount family was interesting...

Great place to spend an hour learning about the history of Knoxville and Tennessee itself. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered many questions throughout our time at the mansion. There is a parking lot on property, so you do not need to pay for on-street parking nearby.

Really cool historical building. The tour was great, and they have some interesting stuff inside. I learned a lot about the history of this place from the tour. One of the rooms was a replica, but the original room is still there, so I guess that’s just a bonus they add to the tour. Great place to tour if your interested in local history.
