Great little trails that are perfect for little ones. The quarry is nice to swim in, it's just unfortunate that you cant swim anywhere outside the very small container area (unless you are on kayaks or paddle boards). Which you cant bring your own, only rentals. Others very great place for the family.
Ijams has a good collection of small but pretty and well-maintained hiking trails, including a boardwalk that follows the Tennessee River. In addition to hiking through the trails and around their quarry, you have the option of renting canoes and kayaks and taking a trip up river. There is also a small playground and a few animals in their nature center. The hikes are not challenging, and children should have an easy time going on their own through the woods. Even our small toddler was willing to walk parts of the trails. All in all, a great place for a family outing and easy hike.
