  • World's Fair Park is the center of the Knoxville community (along with nearby Market Square). It is very well maintained, and hosts all kinds of events. It's great to take a stroll through though if no events are going on. Historically it also a landmark to Knoxville history, and I encourage reading up on it.
  • It's open, and yet, given the curves and channelling of the stream, seems almost cozy. The fountains are great fun for everyone. The park is so big, one can be well away from others, and just enjoy some relatively quiet green space within the heart of the city. Often public festivals are held on its grounds The only issue is that sometimes parking is slim, and one may have to use the public lot NW of the park itself.
