  • This is so much better than Sea World, if you want to learn something about fish. We don't do rides and the fish exhibits were not well marked at Sea World. At the Aquarium, we learned so much because...  more »

  • Had a great time here with my family. I've been here twice, the first time there were a lot of empty tanks. This time there was so much more to see. Lots of nice people helping out and overall a very nice place. The view from the back area is amazing! Lots of cool deep sea creatures in jars. The turtle was the best, so social and friendly looking. Definitely a cool place to check out with family and friends and I totally recommend this aquarium.
  • I enjoy taking my grandsons to visit Birch Aquarium. Logistically, everything is convenient. It's easy to get to, parking is available on site, the spaces aren't overwhelming. Every time we go we learn something new. All the exhibits are excellent, but one that sets it apart is the interactive section about The Scripps Institution of Oceanography research ships. We always end our visit at the tide pools on the terrace where we enjoy not only the exhibits, but the beautiful views. The last time we were there we overheard a girl of about 4 or 5 telling her mother, "The aquarium is so much more fun than the zoo."
