    On a whim, we decided to go camping for the weekend of Fourth of July. We called several campgrounds along the north shore but most of the campgrounds were already full. Thankfully, Rand at Big Bay.....  more »

    The camping facilities were some of the best that I have ever visited. The bathrooms had running water and were clean. The campsites had nice tables/benches and the grate over the fireplace was well built. Some of the campsites are not marked well so they are easy to miss and the sites themselves are not the flattest, but overall a great place to camp!

    My summer is not complete without a trip to Bug Bay Town park. The campsites are great and facilities very clean. Being right on Lake Superior there is no lack of things to do.
