My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this landmark of a ship. Super hot of a day though but I rather it than raining. The ship was well kept and the things to see and read up on are a real eye opener. To think it was a full on running ship at some time. Pictures speak so many words when you're walking through the halls and looking in on the room's. The seats where you can operate the guns or cannons was awesome. You can sit and steer the directions of these guns. Walking up the huge tower was great for pictures. A little steep so careful.
Awesome is the word to describe this place. It's like taking a step back in time and walking through history. There is lots of history in this magnificent battleship. The park where it is located is surrounded by huge oak trees offering plenty of shade to shelter from the sun. Beautiful park that's for sure. Lots of picture opportunities to be had.
