Heisler Park, Laguna Beach

Such a lovely spot for photos or a nice walk along the coast. A lot of variety of plants for plant lovers as well. It does get quite windy there, and need to watch out for seagull droppings, but a wonderful place to spend several hours walking around or taking photos. They have a nice staircase that leads to a rocky outcrop that seagulls frequent, makes a great spot to chill for awhile. Street parking can be kind of sparse, but the coastal views make it worth the struggle to find a spot. You can do a brisk walk there or spend several hours and watch a gorgeous sunset off the coast.

Beautiful park overlooking the ocean. There is a vast variety of plants and flowers. The walkway stretches about a half mile and loops with short sections connecting in between. You will find a half dozen stairways that lead down to the sandy beach below. From the garden to the beach is maybe 50-100 ft elevation drop. There are several public art installations through the walk. Public restrooms are available.
