Transport yourself to the tropical villages of Polynesia with a visit to Polynesian Cultural Center. The living history museum offers hourly tours, performances, and interactive activities at each of its seven separate villages that represent different Polynesian cultures. Take a leisurely canoe tour of the lagoon and surrounding villages, or attend an award-winning Ali'i Luau to experience traditional Hawaiian food and a fire show. Don’t miss the Hā--Breath of Life show to see more than 100 people perform the Samoan fire-knife dance. Catch a bus to the center to avoid the steep parking fees. My family absolutely loved our experience at the Polynesian Cultural Center! Our guide, Gabriela, was sweet and very knowledgeable. She was very patient with us and was great with my 5 year old daughter. We enjoyed the food and the presentations and activities and were in awe by the performances and the Ha: Breath of Life show. It is absolutely worth the cost. I've been telling everyone already about our fantastic experience and hope to be able to return in the future.
Awesome must have experience if you are visiting. I would recommend getting one of the ambassador packages to get the full experience. The pass gets you into all 6 island culture events and hands on tutorials in coconut husking, basket weaving, fire making and all sorts of other attractions. At the end of the visit, wind down with an authentic luau with music and all you can eat items. After the luau you will also have access to the live show “Ha, Breath of life” which is a AMAZING must see show. There’s fire dances, live singing, a wonderful storyline, and did I mention fire dancing!! Place is an all around blast and a must see place.
