Reads Landing Brewing Company is located in a historic 2 story store front building right along the Mississippi River. With an unobstructed view of the river, you can watch the boaters in the summer and eagles in the winter while enjoying lunch, dinner, or just an afternoon snack.

Our menu offers a select list of locally produced fish, poultry, and meats. Our chef Casey prepares each with a flare that everyone will enjoy. Don't forget to try out sweet potato tots or garlic butter fries. They are fast becoming a favorite!

RLBC is now brewing handcrafted beer on-site with something for everyone. Growlers are also available to take home and share. There is also a nice assortment of craft and commercial brews available by bottle that will be changing often with the seasons. For those who prefer other libations, we have a full bar and wine list too.

We look forward to serving our facebook friends and new friends at the Reads Landing Brewing Company.

  • I also loved the Sweet Potato Tots and the rest of our food was good, along with the service. Had drove the Harley over from Mankato area, for the Scenic Hwy. 61 views of the Mississippi River...

  • Really cool brewery right on the river. Good selection of micro brews. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lots of old vintage signs as decor. Really nice outdoor patio seating. Menu was much larger than expected. Beautiful scenery. Nice to wander down to the river after having a beer!
  • Reads Landing is a tiny town (hamlet?) in the middle of nowhere. Keep your eyes peeled - the turn comes up fast, as the tiny town is nestled in a bend of US Hwy 61 - blink and you miss it. Visited the restaurant on a warm October Saturday afternoon about 1:30. The venue was packed: there was a line for tables and lines outside the restrooms. It was as busy as any place I’ve been to since the start of the pandemic. Building is at least 100 years old and possibly much older. Large windows and plenty of outdoor seating provide scenic river views while you enjoy your meal. We order a couple of cocktails right away. My wife’s Bloody Mary was tasty with just the right amount of spice. My screwdriver was fine. It took over 30 minutes for us to get our food. I ordered weiner schnitzel, which was a little over-cooked and dry. Could have used some gravy perhaps. The German potato salad was dry and a bit vinegary. My wife’s smothered ribeye sandwich was well-cooked, tender and flavorful. Her potato salad had an unusually sweet but pleasant flavor. Our server was attentive, efficient and pleasant. She came by once just to apologize for the slow kitchen. Overall I’d highly recommend this restaurant. I think the big crowd was unusual, and I expect service won’t be as slow next time.
