  • We had an amazing time visiting the Wildlife Discovery Center. We went behind the scenes and got to interact with many animals and had a chance to meet with their amazing staff. I've been to a lot of animal facilities but this was the first time ever holding a armadillo and petting a Sloth. You can really tell the love and attention that they put into caring for their animals.
  • Great place for kids as it has a small number of animals to see and a park near by so there is no complaining about walking to far or being bored. There are also trails to walk if feeling like a good walk. There is a shelter area with fireplace and some stocked wood if you bring your own lighter. Sometimes there is a small farmers market open and if the wildlife center is open there are bathrooms. I dont remember seeing any biffys.
