Geneva Lake Shore Path, Lake Geneva

#1 of 79 in Trails in Wisconsin
Must see · Hiking Trail · Nature / Park
Once an ancient Potawatomi trail, Geneva Lake Shore Path runs directly through the wealthy landowners' properties. View homes that were built by famous families, such as the Rockefellers and the Wrigleys. Take in the stately gardens of these old estates, filled with azaleas and oaks, and admire the moored boats on the lake. The whole path is approximately 32 km (20 mi) around the lake and can be easily walked in sections. The path is a footpath only; it's too narrow for bicycling or strollers.
