  • Camped at Rocking Chair camp ground with my toddler. Bring cash to pay your park pass at the self service area. It is $8 a day and you’ll need exact change. The views were incredible. Park service cleaned vault toilets areas daily and removed the trash from bear proof dumpsters. Our campsite had a cover over the picnic table for afternoon shade. It was very windy in the afternoons and evenings. There were also some very aggressive ants around the park, mostly everywhere! My only suggestion would be for the fire pits to be dig out. There are fire rings, but ours was really full. I was able to dig it out some with a rock, but wish I’d brought my shovel! Fishing is great early morning and late afternoon/evening.
  • A little crowded, but where in Colorado isn't there 100 people from out of state? One of the best fisheries and parks in the state!! Beautiful! DOW was friendly , marina and boat ramp easy to access. Cant wait to go back, during the week , when the yahoos are working.
