  • We hiked the while trail and it definitely was worth the $15 weekday fee. Such a nice, scenic trail. The interpretive garden was special.

  • My daughter and I drove up for the day from Phoenix and had a great day at the state park. It was $15 for a day pass and was worth it. Had we known there were cute little cabins to rent we definitely would have but you can’t rent on the same day and have to go through the website. The price ($119p/n) is quite reasonable in my opinion. They’re right along it’s own private beach too! Definitely doing that next time! The public beach was great though with a nice grass area to have a picnic or what not. There are several covered picnic tables by the water too. The beach is nice but rocky so wear water shoes of some sort.
  • We got a beautiful huge site right by the shoreline. Unfortunately it was very hot during our stay but the site is fabulous and in the early morning and evenings we really enjoyed sitting out looking over the lake. There was a nice shade roof and very high quality picnic table and barbecue, fire ring and even a place to hang your lantern. We will be back
