Reflecting the lifestyle of early pioneers of Pennsylvania, the Morgan Log House is a meticulously restored example of early domestic architecture. The land originally owned and farmed by Edward Morgan, a Welsh Quaker, the Morgan Log House is currently administered by the Welsh Valley Preservation Society. The Museum exhibits many examples of fine furniture, metalwares, household implements and colonial period decorative arts from the early Welsh and German settlers to Pennsylvania. The house is very interesting, so is the property. the garden is small but a lot of interesting things growing there. they showed you how they made beer and medicines of the 17 and 18 hundreds. the music was very authentic and pleasing. lots of vendors with food, beers and honey. it was a chilly night but it was a beautiful environment with friendly people and for a very good cause
Historical. The volunteers are knowledgeable, and friendly. Site is well taken care of
