The Michigan History Center includes the Archives of Michigan and the Michigan History Museum, the flagship of our 12-site Michigan History Museum System. What a fun visit. Very well laid out. Parking is free and plentiful. Would recommend visiting on weekend when school groups are not there.

Lots of cool displays and things to look at and touch for the kids to learn about Michigan's history. Was great for all ages. Lots of bathrooms. Place was nice and clean. Cafeteria area available to eat lunch for students coming with schools.

Sundays are best day to visit because it’s free. Highly recommend if you want to see history of state of Michigan. This is great for ages 5-99.
