David Copperfield reviews
This was this was our first Vegas shows ever, and I just want to say that it was the best decision ever, me and my wife enjoy the show and want to see it again soon. more »
only one thing to say: HOW DOES HE DO IT? Disappearing, Materializing, Car appearing, UFO appearing. He involves the audience throughout his show and even performs in the audience. more »
Saw Criss Angel day before Copperfield, Two very different shows and I am a Copperfield fan from way back. He is still talented at illusions and there are some really really amazing ones in his show without giving it away. He makes a great deal of effort to involve the audience and performs a couple of tricks in the audience. I think he’s going for an intimate night of magic versus flash and acrobatics and loud music which is also fine. He has always loved to story tell and tighter story telling would help. It may feel like a long story but I assure you it’s worth the wait for the illusion. If you’re a Copperfield fan you will likely enjoy the show. Just don’t expect the type of magic he did in the 80s and 90s because his style has changed. The last time I saw him he was much younger and came to Toronto to do a couple of shows and that show was amazing. Oh and don’t forget to bring your phone! Only annoying thing was when one of the staff near the end TOLD several of us to give him a standing ovation. They know that’s now how it works right!??!
What do you say when you've had the opportunity to see one of the (if not the greatest) most celebrated and most talented magicians/illusionists of our time...Mr. David Copperfield maintains a unique presence that is fitting of a mega-star of his status. His show doesn't disappoint. It is a (mostly) family oriented show where every generation can enjoy the illusions and the laughter. You will be surprised by the story telling and the ending.
