Experience the vibrant splendor of endless lights and entertainment under a 27 m (90 ft) vaulted canopy at Fremont Street Experience. The pedestrian mall stretches five blocks through downtown Las Vegas, lined with eclectic shops, street performers, and nightly entertainment. Pay a visit to the Neon Museum or take a wild ride on the 12-story Slotzilla zipline. There's a spectacular light and sound show in the evenings, and often a free concert on one of the mall’s two sound stages. While parking along the Strip is free of charge, you must pay a small fee to park at the mall. Make Fremont Street Experience a part of your Las Vegas vacation plans using our Las Vegas trip website.

Everybody makes a big hype about The Strip, but in my opinion The Fremont Street experience is way more enjoyable. It offers everything you really come to Vegas for WITHOUT the 3.5 mile coverage area and horrible traffic (vehicle and pedestrian) you find on The Strip. Great food, great music, street performers and free shows, and the casinos offer a more authentic "Vegas experience". Being downtown, Fremont maintains some of the vintage Vegas vibe while still catering to both the more modern crowd as well as the nostalgic. I've seen a lot of Las Vegas. Of all the places I've been here, Fremont is my favorite place to be!

If you go to Vegas and don't go here, you are missing out! I don't know why anyone would stay on the Strip? Fremont St. has it all for a fraction of the price. So much to do and see. There is a big difference between day and nighttime. Tons of people and Street Performers, bars to get a drink as you take it all in. There are live music stages and great music playing all the time. A skyline where you can fly over everyone. A great experience! The casinos are clean and better odds than the huge ones on The Strip.
