  • Park at the Alan Bible Center and walk along the trail to Hoover Dam and back to the Alan Bible Center and you hiked 10 miles. The area is absolutely stunning with great views of Lake Mead.  more »
  • Great hike for beginners or families. It has only a slight incline, and it’s not too long. Once you make it to the first tunnel, you’ll see the hard work involved in carving these tunnels out of the.....  more »

  • Unfortunately when I was here, I was just passing through for the night and getting ready to head back home the next day so I only had a few minutes that morning to spare for a quick hike but from what I saw I could definitely see myself spending a lot of time here. From a distance the view of lake Mead with the mountain background was amazing especially seeing the morning sunrise which accents and highlights all the beautiful colors in the landscape. I wish I had enough time to see the tunnels but since I didn’t, I’ve now got another reason to comeback. I love the fact they repurposed the old railroad and I think this reflects positively on the type of place Boulder City is. I also want to comment on how clean the paved trail was, I can’t recall seeing any litter. I leave here impressed and with the intent to return one day to pick up where I left off.
  • A good, flat hike, where you can hear bats and go through railroad tunnels all the way to Hoover dam... All 5 tunnels may be easily passable if you forget to read the signs. Minimal damage to a few feet of wooden bracing means one of the tunnels is "closed." bring lots of water and don't go when it is too sunny or the middle of summer.
