  • This place was nothing short of amazing. I went with a group of people ages 5-60 & they ALL had a great time! Each area was educational, yet fun and there are plenty of hands on exhibits. The cost of a day ticket included the Origen Museum as well.
  • The thing is, they talk it up so grand in the media, but when you get there not really all that great. This is supposed to be a state museum and although Dinosaurs were a part of Nevada, they should not be the main attraction. One whole side of the museum was closed off. So really all I got to look at was fossils and stuffed animals. There was a very small section on the Hoover Dam, and some displays about early gaming. But honestly, not worth the time. I can say with certainty I will not be going back. As a local, I think they can do much better.
