The iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign represents a popular photo-op for tourists visiting Sin City. Designed by Betty Willis, the sign was erected at the south end of the world-renowned strip in 1959 to encourage tourists to visit. It seems the 7.6 m (25 ft) tall sign has been a success--today it attracts several hundred visitors a day eager to get their photo with the landmark. Best accessed by car, the sign stands at the side of the highway and features a small parking lot for visitors. You'll find an attendant on-site to corral the line of visitors who will take your picture for a small tip. • Classical Las Vegas sign. If you are in Vegas, this is a must see location. It is not near the main casinos, so you have to take a bus (8 dollars for unlimited 24 hours rides) or go by car (there is a dedicated parking spot). In there, there is usually a line to take a photo at the best location, but you can also take a photo by the side if you don't want to wait. On the other side of the street were some private jets from an airport, but I don't know if they are always there.
  • A right of passage when you are in Vegas! There is a line before you get to take a close photo. Neat and orderly. If you don't want to line up, then take a photo with people as your background, still not bad. There is a space for parking. Easy to find. Awesome location. A must for tourists.
