  • This is right by the side of the road, so a must. The mud is boiling and the steam is pouring out of the hole.  more »
  • The easiest geothermal area to see in the park...literally right on the side of the road near the south entrance to the park. Definitely worth a stop.  more »
  • We’ve been there on the Memorial weekend. The road was closed for the vehicles for winter right before this point but you can go ahead by your feet and explore this amazing place. The hot springs with the steam and combination with the snow are unbelievable! Just go there and check it yourself!
  • Gray muddy well continues bubbling. It is the fundamental sound of earth.
