The New River State Park is located along the North and South forks of the New River. Depending on which access area you choose there are varying outdoor amenities. The facilities are excellent and well maintained. The staff provided all the necessary information requested. They were very polite and courteous. We will definitely consider going there for a little camping trip.

We exited the river here and left so we didn't get to see much of the park. The exit point was well maintained but probably could have been better marked. It would be easy to pass it by.
