  • Always great! Definitely a great place to go for a quick trip. They always have good rental equipment, the slopes are well maintained, and it is just all around a fun place! If you are used to skiing out west, the hills are obviously extremely easy compared to anywhere out west, but for the Midwest Perfect North is great!
  • Grew up out West on all the high-profile ski areas, and with this understanding, PN is on my list of favorites. Runs are fairly short by "out West" standards, but the operation is superior to most. Their process for rentals is intuitive, and selection is extreme (hundreds and hundreds of boards, boots, helmets, etc.) The snow is professionally-produced and groomed, so don't expect powder (unless powder actually falls); however, considering the local weather, the conditions are seldom icy--perfect for learning. They also have plenty of obstacles, jumps, and speed runs (just show caution when runs merge--I don't think many users understand the uphill-must-give-way rule).
