It did take a minute because we had to get a pass but all was good. Paid our respects to Geronimo, was a nice cemetery.

The cemetary and original post buildings are well maintained. If you don't have a DOD ID you need to go to get one at the control pt. The officers there were very helpful and only took about 10 minutes. They also showed us where and how to get out to the cemetary.

Geronimo's grave is located on Ft.Sill, Oklahoma. It is on the east side of post where the Badic Training area is located. You have to follow the signs from the Old Post to locate it. Once you are there it is a beautiful area off the beaten path. It is located inside the Indian Prisoner of War cemetery. There are other family members of Geronimo located in the area. If you ever visit Ft. SILL I highly recommend going to the grave. There is so much history located in the cemetery. If you don't have Base privileges you will need a visitors pass to be able to access the location.
