To bring fruit and honey wines to all....for a good buzzz.Put The Hive Winery and other Layton attractions into our Layton trip itinerary planning website, and watch your holiday take shape.
If you think you know all about fruit wines, think again, we craft a unique style of fruit wine, ranging from dry to sweet, many far dryer than other fruit wines on the market.
Located in Layton, Utah, The Hive Winery and Brandy Company is close to sources of wonderful fresh fruit and local honey. We work closely with local farmers to get fruit at its peek and support the agricultural industry of Utah. That being said, our wines and spirits are 100% natural! We NEVER use artificial flavors or colors when creating our wines or spirits. Additionally, since our products are made from fruit and/or honey, they are all naturally gluten free.

I absolutely love this winery. They are so knowledgeable and always willing to help you. They have the yummiest wines and also some bath bomb and soap products!!
I have been wanting to travel up I-15 to Layton for a mead run. Due to conflicting work schedules between myself and wife, it has come to be an adventure in progress. At the State liquor store in Sandy, I was hoping The Hive mead was being sold. Much to my delight/ surprise I found it. I tried the Summer (semi-sweet) and was shocked that I made a mistake on buying just 1. I have tried numerous Meads not only from the US but also from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany, and honestly say This is one of the best that I have tasted. Smooth, very flavorful and very aromatic. Knowledge and experience goes a long way into production. This is a combination of all. In baseball it is called a brand-new slam. Well worth the my search. The only problem I have with this is Why the Hell did I wait Sooo long? I have been stung.( My wife, who likes sweet French Roses, is now hooked also 👍👍👍 ) 5 of 5 horns definitely . Skal to the Hive.
